- Many evolving metal clad stoves are increasingly making use of cone shaped features, not only to enhance stove performance but also to improve the aesthetic appeal. However, experimental work in the Gambia and Kenya has shown that the use of cones does increase the amount of materials required and the scrap off cut is of low quality because it is mainly of a curved nature.
