Biochar potential in upland Cambodia

United Kingdom
I am concerned that many people, while discussing the pros and cons of Biochar, do not even mention Conservation Agriculture (CA).
It has been adopted across much of South America.
This technique is often confused with No-till which is somewhat similar but more for 'industrial' farmers.

CA, like Biochar, increases soil fertility and sequesters carbon but only requires a change in agrcultural practices!

To get some knowledge of CA it is probably best to go to Wikis though they are far from perfected:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_sequestration &
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conservation_agriculture but this Wiki does not even mention carbon sequestration

Both should prove useful but it will be important to establish which is the best for each situation!
