Seventh Annual TIDES Field Demonstration: Clean Fuel Solutions for Humanitarian Assistance

Please join Babington Technologies at the Annual TIDES Technology Field Demonstration on October 1-4 at Ft. McNair, Washington DC as they demonstrate the Disaster Relief Mobile Kitchen Trailer. The Mobile Trailer humanitarian works to cook and serve food rapidly, a fundamental task in any humanitarian/disaster relief service. The Babington mobile trailers are unique and innovative as they can burn any distillate liquid fuel efficiently. Babington Technologies is teaming up with clean alcohol fuel initiative Project Gaia to expand the reach of their feeding trailer programs in refugee camps in Africa, specifically to Somali camps in Eastern Ethiopia, where Project Gaia and partners have been sourcing ethanol fuel since 2007. Please read Babington’s cookstove profile on the GACC website here.

Please join Babington Technologies for their event which will feature a cooking demonstration on Wednesday October 2, 2013 from Noon until 5:00pm. Cooks will prepare authentic Ethiopian dishes to demonstrate the versatility of the Babington Disaster Relief Mobile Kitchen Trailer. Please click here to learn more about the mobile trailers:
