An international course for the public and private sector involved in energy conservation and environmental protection in industries.

Organized by: CSTM – Twente Centre for Studies in Technology and Sustainable Development University of Twente, the Netherlands in close collaboration with CSTM Fryslan, University of Twente, the Netherlands

Energy Management is a central component to improving the energy efficiency of an industry or an industrial plant. During the course, all aspects of modern (energy) management will be discussed. Another focus is on technical and economic aspects of more efficient energy use and cleaner production. Participants have the opportunity to carry out an energy audit.

Our short courses have been approved for the Nuffic NFP short course list. If you are admitted to our course you can request for a NFP fellowship. Potential applicants who intend to apply for NFP funding are advised that the deadline for funding applications is May 1, 2011. The Ugandan authorities use a different deadline. Check at

In the past, international organizations such as UNIDO, UNDP, the World Bank, ESCAP, Commission of the European Communities etc., as well as national organizations, have made fellowships available for the course. Potential candidates are therefore advised to explore various funding possibilities in their respective countries.
